Q: What kind of sites do you host?
As stated on the rules page, only the following:
- Personal sites and personal blogs.
- Beauty blogs.
- Pet blogs.
- Pet dedication sites.
- Small fanlisting collectives.
- Single fanlistings, anime fanlistings, physical fanlistings, and cliques.
- Site/domain collectives or network.
- Icon/avatar archives.
- Shrines.
Q: Is it alright if I have no previous experience in fanlistings to apply?
A: You don't need to have any experience in building fanlistings. As long as you abide by the TFL rules when building one, you can apply for hosting here.
Q: Can I have my subdomain changed?
A: Yes, you can. Just send me an email iheartyou.fls[at]gmail.com. Please include the name of your current subdomain and the one you would like it to be changed in to.
Q: What kind of fanlistings do you host?
A: Fanlistings listed at either The Fanlistings Network, The Anime Fanlistings Network, or The Physical Fanlistings Network.
Q: Do you host adult or controversial fanlistings?
A: Yes.
Q: Are there any scripts that I'm not allowed to use?
A: Yes, there are a few insecure scripts that I don't want on my server.

If I see you have any of these installed, I will ask you to remove said script. If needed, I can help you find a safe alternative. You can also read Jem's article on unsafe PHP scripts to see why "your" script is insecure.
Q: Do I need to make backups of my databasses?
A: I will frequently make MySQL backups for hostees that don't have their own cPanel. People that do have their own cPanel need to do this themselves.
Q: Do I need to make backups of my site?
A: For your own site, yes. You have access to FTP so you can easily do this yourself.
Q: Could you install a script for me?
A: If you want me to install a script, or just need help with customising, send me an email at iheartyou.fls[at]gmail.com.
Q: Do you use any IM?
A: Yes, I sometimes use MSN Messenger. Use the contact form if you want to know my username.
Q: Do you host sites in any languages other than English and Dutch?
A: It depends on what kind of site it is. Feel free to apply though. :)
Q: Could you recommend a good (free) FTP program?
A: I personally use and recommend the free FTP add-on for Firefox, called FireFTP.
Q: Do I need to know how FTP works?
A: Yes, I prefer you know the basics of how to upload your files and deleting files in FTP. On the site of SmartFTP you will find some beginner tutorials. (Support > Tutorials)
Q: I don't use a script to manage my fanlistings, can I still get hosted?
A: Yes, as long as you frequently update your fanlistings, you're more than welcome here.
Q: May I put ads on my site? Like Google Adsense for example?
A: No, sorry. Ads are annoying and unwelcome here.
Q: Is it okay for me to use a pre-made layout on my site?
A: Of course. Just make sure you give the proper credit to the maker of the layout.
